Policies & FAQ

  • Deposits are non-refundable.

To secure your session date and time, a $200 CAD deposit is required.

The deposit will be deducted from the final price of the tattoo at the end of our last session

The deposit must be paid no later than 72 hours after I send the information for e-transfer.
(Due to the volume of requests, I cannot hold the date longer than this.)

Only once I receive your deposit will I start drawing your design.

Deposits will be forfeited if you fail to show up to your appointment, cancel, or reschedule more than two times.

  • Last minute cancellations, late arrivals or rescheduling affects my ability to plan for other clients. That said, I am reasonable. I understand that life happens. Never hesitate to reach out to me, but please respect my time.

If you want to save your deposit and reschedule your session, I require 5 business days notice.

    Late Arrival Fee
A $50 late fee will be applied at checkout, if you arrive 25 minutes, or more, past our tattoo session’s start time. I tend to use all of the time we have booked, and if we start late we may not have enough time to finish the tattoo.

    No-Show Fee
If you do not show up to our tattoo session (40 mins or later), your deposit will be forfeited and a second deposit of $100 will be required to rebook your next session; should I wish to continue our project.

  • I no longer send out designs beforehand.

At the start of our session we will look at the design together and make minor changes, (should you have any).

If at this point you would like to make larger changes or redesign the piece at a whole, a second deposit will be required for that following session.

Collaboration on a design requires trust between the client and artist.

  • Day Before
Please do not consume alcohol 48 hours before your appointment. This thins out the blood and can push ink out during the tattoo process. Not only will it affect how long it can take to tattoo, it usually is more painful and has the potential to cause more damage than is wanted. This may also affect how the tattoo will heal and look overall.

Getting a good night's rest the day before is highly recommended; I also find that this helps with the pain.

    Day Of
Bring some water and snacks. If it is a full-day session, please bring lunch. Also, please try to have a large healthy meal before the session, this will help your blood sugar levels.

My two priorities on the day of your session are applying your tattoo to the best of my ability, and making sure you and I are both comfortable.

If you have any other questions about your session, I am happy to answer them beforehand. I am also happy to walk you through my process beforehand we start for transparency.

Please also make sure to clean the area you are getting tattooed, and to refrain from using any lotion, make up, or tanner on the body part.

If your tattoo is in a sensitive spot (like your rib cage or thigh), please wear or bring loose clothing. In the past, some clients have brought a loose pair of gym shorts, a low-backline bathing suit, or a dress-top worn backwards. I can also provide you with a covering the day of. We have a washroom to change in for privacy. Your comfort and safety during our session is my number one priority.

    Please arrive on time.

  • Cash or E-Transfers are highly preferred.
I also accept major Debt and Credit cards.

  • Due to the nature of micro-realism tattoos, touch ups are sometimes needed. I ensure my work. This means that I will provide free touch-ups for tattoos that have lost lines and/or shading during the healing process. All touch ups are subject to my approval.

    However this does not include:
    * the natural aging of tattoos beyond a year from the session date
    * from movement in high traffic areas
    * sun exposure (spf 30+ is recommended)
    * or in cases where it is clear to me that aftercare instructions were not followed.

I cannot tell you how many times I get asked to do a touch up and someone has completely neglected my aftercare; please do not be this person.

Aftercare is half of the equation to a perfectly set tattoo.

Before reaching out to book a touch up, it is good practice to wait 3-4 weeks, by then the skin is usually fully healed.

If you would like to see how my work heals, please check out my “Healed” highlights on Instagram.

  • Currently I am not booking all white ink tattoos. Nor do I tattoo fingers, ears, tongues, feet, or genitals.
